All of out babies have been placed in wonderful homes!
I hope everyone is doing well!! It’s been a hectic past couple of months. I am happy to announce that all our babies are placed in wonderful homes. As far as future breedings, we are planning to breed Lucy and Dozer one last time next year! As for Sophie, there has been a change in plans. We will not be breeding her to Huey next year. There is a good possibility that we will be breeding her to Huey’s father, Otello! I am very excited about this breeding. Otello is just a dream! If you are interested in a bullie or a frenchie puppy and would like to be placed on our waiting list, just email me with your contact info. and I will keep you posted on our upcoming litters. I wish everyone a wonderful summer!

PUPPIES ARE HERE!!!!!
Click on Image to Zoom... I am happy to announce Lucy had her puppies late Tuesday night! I will be posting pictures on the puppy page! Lucy is doing great. She has a lot of milk and the babies are gorgeous! We have 3 girls and 1 boy. Unfortunately, we lost 2 babies soon after they were born. This is the heart wrenching part of breeding. Although it is not uncommon to this breed, it is still sad to see. I am very happy with our babies. They are very healthy and strong, and of course absolutely gorgeous!

Lucy is pregnant!
Lucy had her ultrasound today. I am very happy to announce that Lucy is pregnant! Our gorgeous babies are due February 29th! In 20 days, Lucy will be going for a pregnancy x-ray. This exam will give us an idea of how many puppies to expect and will help us determine if we are right on with the due date. I will post any new news as I have it. I am finishing the final touches on my new puppy nursery. We built a separate little building next to our home that is completely set up to raise puppies from one half that will be set up as the “newborn” half, and when the pups are up and running, they will graduate to the “toddler” half where they will have plenty of room to run and play! I will be posting pictures of the new “Bully House” when it is finished. They will also have a fenced in area to go outside and play when the weather permits. Have a great day and stay tuned...

For those of you interested in our Frenchies, Sophie is showing some signs of pregnancy. It is still very early and we won’t know for sure before February 15th. Check back for news on our Frenchies, too! We’ll keep our fingers crossed!

Lucy had her ultrasound on August 6th
Lucy had her ultrasound on August 6th and we were disappointed to find there weren’t any puppies in there. It seams that Lucy is going through a false pregnancy also known as a pseudopregnancy. This does happen often in all breeds and there really is no explanation other than we missed her window of ovulation. Sometimes the vet is proven wrong when a very small litter of one or two puppies surprises everyone. So there is a very slight chance that there is a puppy or two high up under the ribcage. So, only time will tell. For now we are pretty much accepting that Lucy is not pregnant. I will definitely post news of any surprises or changes. We plan on breeding Lucy in December when she goes into heat again. This will mean a litter in February. I am not sure if I want to chance breeding her to Pretty Boy again or if I will just breed her to Dozer. I will have to think about that one. I hope everyone enjoys the rest of this summer. I will be on vacation next week and then the kids go back to school the following week on the 27th! Yippee!!

I will also be breeding Sophie, our French bulldog when she goes into heat sometime in December. So that will be our first litter of Frenchies! They are the cutest little things! I want to wish Sophie a HAPPY BIRTHDAY! She turned 1 year old yesterday on August 11th.

Lucy will be going for her pregnancy ultrasound.
Lucy will be going for her pregnancy ultrasound on Monday August 6th to confirm pregnancy. She is acting as if she is pregnant and seems to be getting bigger around the middle! So we have our fingers crossed! I have added more pictures to the galleries, so check them out! I will post news again after the ultrasound. Thanks, Karony

Lucy bred to Ch. Cherokee Legend Pretty Boy
Lucy was bred to Ch. Cherokee Legend Pretty Boy on Saturday July 7th. We are very excited about this union!! Pretty Boy is a gorgeous male with many wins under his belt and a very nice pedigree! He lives in Indianapolis, IN with his owner Connie Chambers. If Lucy takes, we will have some absolutely gorgeous puppies born in the first week of September. Dozer is very upset that he had to sit this one out, but my goal as a breeder is to maintain my line and keep the highest quality and standards. The best way for me to do this is to keep a female out of this litter and then I will be able to breed her to Dozer. If there are any questions, please don’t hesitate to contact me! In 30 days, Lucy will be going for an ultrasound to confirm pregnancy. I will post all new news as soon as I have it!!

Lucy has gone into heat!
I will be breeding her within the next couple of weeks. There is a possibility that I will be breeding her with a very accomplished champion out of Cherokee and Legend lines. The reason for my decision is so that I can maintain champion bloodlines and so that I can keep a female from this litter to breed to Dozer in the future. I will post pictures and information on the champion stud if I decide to breed to him. Stay tuned!
